All of our products are hypoallergenic, dermatologist-tested, gluten-free, and made with best-in-class ingredients (like shea butter, jojoba oil, and antioxidant vitamins!)

We validate all our products through rigorous testing by our own scientists and by independent labs.

As a first step, we assess the specifications and testing done by suppliers of each ingredient in our products, and choose only those that meet our standards. Every final product is then tested for a range of safety and quality standards, as well as for their effectiveness.

Our testing meets or exceeds all safety and quality standards set by industry norms or regulatory bodies.

We do not test our products on animals, and we're proud to be cruelty-free certified through the Leaping Bunny program as well as animal-test free certified through PETA.

Our Lip Balms have a 3 year shelf life. You can also contact us providing the 5 or 6-digit lot code engraved or printed onto your eos product and we will be happy to help.

Our shave creams, and all of our body lotions & creams are vegan!

Some of our other lip balms are not vegan (because they contain beeswax) but do not contain any other animal products. The squalene in our products is vegetable-derived.

Yes! Our products do not contain gluten, and are not exposed to gluten during manufacturing. The oat ingredient found in some of our products is certified gluten-free. Our products are also checked in the final stage for gluten traces as an added precaution.

eos lip balms and lotions contain coconut oil and shea butter (shea butter is derived from the shea tree nut). Certain eos hand lotions and body lotions contain macadamia nut oil. The facilities where eos products are made process other products containing certain other nut oils, but do not process peanuts.

Oils from nuts are not known to cause allergies. However, you should always check with your physician for any known sensitivities.

We love our planet! All of our products are recyclable and categorized as mixed plastic #7. The plastics used for our products are BPA, latex, phthalate, and toxin free. Additionally, 100% of the shea butter we use is sustainably and ethically sourced, and we’re an active member of the Global Shea Alliance.

There's nothing in our lip balms that should cause any problems if they are ingested.

We've had many reports of this with no adverse effects.

That said, if you notice any discomfort or other symptoms that cause concern, we'd suggest seeking medical treatment to be safe.

If the swallowed lip balm is either the SPF Lip Balm, please consult a medical professional, since those flavors contain additional ingredients like SPF, Phenol or Menthol.
